Church of the Nazarene

Family Movie Night

Friday, June 20, 2008

Doors will open at 7:30 pm, and the movie will begin when it gets dark enough to see.  We'll be outside, in the parking lot to the east of the church (farthest from Veteran's Parkway), weather permitting.  We have nice hard wooden chairs for you to sit in, so feel free to bring your comfy folding chairs.  If the weather is foul, we'll have our flick inside.

All concessions are 50cents each.  We usually have a variety of sodas, candies, and fresh-popped popcorn.  Proceeds pay for the concessions.

Due to licensing restrictions, we can't tell you the title of this month's film, but we can give you some hints:

Rating:  G        Release date: 3/30/07

Synopsis:  This lively computer-animated film follows the adventures of Lewis, a young orphaned inventor who is determined to find his birth mother by using a "memory scanner," a device of his own creation. When Lewis meets a boy from the year 2037 named Wilbur Robinson, they begin a charmingly strange time-traveling journey that involves Wilbur's eccentric family, bowler hats bent on world domination, song-and-dance frogs, and a frustrated Tyrannosaurus Rex.
