Our name tells a lot about us:

"Sanctuary" says two things:

1.  We're a community that worships Almighty God.

2.  We're a haven, a safe place for everyone who might not feel like they belong in a lot of churches.

"International" says two things:

1.  We celebrate the varied cultural and ethnic backgrounds of individuals in our community.

2.  We're part of a global family of believers in Jesus Christ.

We're a new church in the Bloomington-Normal, IL area. (Our Grand Opening was October 2007.) We are a community of global Christians, which means we think a person's relationship with God is more important than their race, ethnicity, politics, language, or tribe.  In fact, we're excited to be a part of inviting members of every race, tribe, and tongue to join us in worship around the throne of God.
