Our name tells a lot about us:
When people hear the word "Sanctuary" they usually think of two things:
1. A safe haven or refuge. There are a lot of reasons people are afraid they might not be accepted in a church: family status, ethnic background, criminal history, or other "baggage." But one thing we hear over and over is, "This is the first church where I haven't felt judged." At The Sanctuary Church, we believe that because Jesus accepted us, we accept you.
2. A place of worship. It's true that we set aside a room in a building to worship God. But more than that, we set aside time in our schedules, attention in our hearts, and space in our lives to worship God. At The Sanctuary Church, we believe that human beings were created for relationship with God, so everything we do here is designed to connect us with that purpose.
The Sanctuary Church . . . a safe place to connect with your Creator.
